Just wanted to let you know that I have a new xanga name.. I changed it because it was supposed to be a temporary name when I made it.. thats why it was so retarded.. my new xanga name is abbesnails I wont really be checking this one all that often anymore.. so just chck my new name out.

Please pray for Gramps.. he's still on the ventilator and they told us today that he has pnemonia .. Please keep us in your prayers!

| hey.. WOW that was a depressing entry eh? .. anyways.. Gramps isn't looking too hot, today he stopped breathing and they had to do CPR and put a respirator in to keep him going. He's still not able to talk or understand what's going on around him.. he's sedated most of the time anyway.
I guess I'm heading home tomorrow afternoon to get my vaccinations for Brazil. I still haven't heard back from my host family .. kinda sucks

| Hey guys.. I dont even know where to start...
This morning kate woke me up and told me that my Grandfather was being life flighted to KU med because he had fallen down the steps and his brain was hemmoraging..(if thats even how you spell it) we immediately drove up to the hospital to meet him, and after about an hour the doctor showed us the CT scan and explained that grandpa's brain was bleeding internally and externally, but he didnt think it had to do with his fall... he suspected that he had a brain tumor and that it had ruptured.. he said grandpa's brain is smaller than normal because of his alcoholism.. but that it was a huge blessing because if it had been a 'normal' brain, grandpa would have died from the swelling.. but eventually he came back and told us that he thought that grandpa was actually having a stroke when he fell down the steps and that's why his brain was so jacked.. he said gpa's brain showed signs of two other strokes.. and no-one even knew about them.. he's in ICU right now.. drugged up and tied down..
They say he probably won't ever be the same.. that if he recovers he'll have to live with someone or in a nursing home.. he probably won't be able to talk or communicate very well..
